Deb White – South Lincoln Division Commissioner

“I joined Brownies as a seven year old in South London, I then went onto progress into Guides and Rangers, due to work commitments and then young children I took some time out from guiding. After moving to Lincolnshire, my youngest daughter started as a Guide in North Hykeham, they were desperately looking for a treasurer for the unit, so my daughter very kindly offered my services. After completing my leadership qualification I went on to lead Brownies, Guides and Rangers and also an assistant guider at my daughter’s Rainbow unit. I proceeded to become the District Commissioner for North Hykeham district, a Mentor, the County Residential Adviser and County Queens Guide Adviser and now I am Division Commissioner for South Lincoln along with being a member of Trefoil Guild. I have gained so much from guiding, life experiences and lifelong friends, which I don’t think would have been possible if it wasn’t for my time in guiding.”

South Lincoln Division

South Lincoln division is made up of 595 girls, 44 units and 5 Districts and many fantastic leaders, helpers and young leaders who give their time and commitment to girls from ages 4 to 18. We offer a varied programme and opportunities to everyone; we hold many events and trainings for our girls and their leaders. We will be holding our bi-yearly Division day event in 2023.
