The Walled Garden

Rauceby, Sleaford

Set within the grounds of the Rauceby Hall estate, The Walled Garden is a large enclosed field with access to woodland at the rear.
There are various walks to enjoy that are easily accessible from the camp site.
We have a water tap on site and two portaloos – the latter are cleaned professionally every week. A large container is located on the right hand side of the site and has cooking equipment, tents, kitchen ware as well as some activities such as gadget wood and games.
Equipment for building altar fires is located at the top end of the field and is free to use.
Wood for your fires can be gathered from the trees surrounding the Walled Garden – part of the wider estate is a working farm so please do not wander any further without permission from the estate office.
Remember to keep the gate to the Walled Garden shut at all times to prevent sheep from entering your camp area.
Access to the site involves a short walk across another field (c50m) – leaders cars can be driven up to the walled gardens for loading and unloading but should then be moved onto the adjacent roads (please be considerate to our neighbours who live nearby).
