Training

Adult Development (Training)

If you are a new and inexperienced leader or someone about to collect their 30 year Long Service Award there are new ideas, changes in programme and new skills to develop that are available to you through the training programme within the County.

Every year there is a County Skills Day (held in October) and a County Training Day (held in March). Both of these days are filled with a variety of sessions to appeal to most leaders in the County.

As well as these there is a variety of evening training sessions available usually at Parva House.

If you have any ideas for new trainings contact your Division Training Rep or the County Training Coordinator.

Any new training will be advertised here as well as flyers via your Division team.

Evening Trainings for 2010

Trainings for new leaders in all sections will be run in the Autumn.  Dates will be published here once confirmed.

For further details, contact the County Training Co-ordinator.

County Training Day

The 2010 training day was most successful with over 250 of leaders attending -  60 completing the Full Day First Response.

The next County Training Day will take place in Tattershall on 26th March 2011.  Application details will be published here when available.

Child Protection Awareness Programme

Did you know that for just £10 (which can be covered by unit funds) you can follow a distance learning programme called ‘Keeping Children Safe’. You would gain a certificate from NSPCC on completion.
