Seagull House was built in 1992 on part of the Nellie Doubleday camp site, just off the A52 between Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea on the Lincolnshire coast.
The land that the camp site is on was given to Girlguiding Lincolnshire South in 1979 by Mr Henry Doubleday who wished it to be named for his wife Nellie who had been a Guide.
It is in easy walking distance of the beach and there is plenty of room on the now enlarged site for play and games.

 Information
Seagull House is a fully insulated, double glazed building suitable for residential holiday bookings.

The facilities include:

  • A large activity/dining room with carpeted area at one end with easy chairs. It is equipped with folding tables, stacking chairs and pin boards for posters. 
  • A dormitory with bunk beds to sleep 24 with under bed storage containers.
  • Leaders room with 4 single beds.
  • First aid room with bunk bed.
  • Large kitchen, fully equipped for 40.
  • Washrooms with toilets, showers and wash basins.
  • Conservatory/porch area with space for outdoor clothing and shoes.
  • Large grassed area outside for games and activities.
